James L. 'Jim' (Wagner) MacLeod

April 12, 1967 - November 1, 2017

James L. 'Jim' (Wagner) MacLeod was born on April 12, 1967. He and his family relocated to Wiesbaden, Germany where he attended General H. H. Arnold High School. Jim graduated with the Class of 1985. During his senior year, he was voted 'best hair,' along with fellow senior Tricia Smith, by his classmates.


Jim came back to the U.S. and lived in Colorado. He was a veteran, having joined the Air Force, and served during the Persian Gulf war.

Jim suffered from an illness that went untreated for some time. He entered hospice in the last week of October 2017 and passed on November 1, 2017. Jim is survived by his son, Tristan.


Jim's final resting place is at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado. Jim's grave site is located in section 63, plot 16. Additional details can be found here.

Jim and his son, Tristan, frequented the Colorado Junior Karting Club circuit, competing in races for several years. Jim is fondly remembered by the people who raced with them.
